Whether your tyres have suffered a puncture accidentally or maliciously, this policy will refund the cost of having to repair or replace your tyres during the term of your insurance.
As well as this, the policy will also cover alloy wheel damage, meaning no more pricey trips to the body shop. If your claim is successful, AutoProtect will arrange for a specialist to come and repair your alloy wheel at a time and place that suits you. If your tyres suffer accidental or malicious damage or a puncture, you'll receive a refund for the cost of having to repair or replace your tyres.

Should your alloy wheels suffer accidental damage, this policy will cover the cost of repairs, leaving you with one less financial worry to think about.
Easy to use claims app
In the event you need to make a claim, AutoProtect's free, easy-to-use mobile app allows you to submit a claim whenever it suits you, day or night or on-the-go.
Everyday elements such as potholes, kerbs, and road debris can puncture tyres, and if you find yourself in a situation where your tyres have suffered a puncture, accidentally or maliciously, this policy will cover the cost of having to repair or replace your tyres. All of your tyres, including your spare tyre, are covered, and you can choose to cover run-flat tyres if needed. You can claim for up to five tyres (including your spare) during your policy term.
In motoring life, it's almost inevitable to avoid scuffs and scratches on your alloy wheels, and the cost of repairing or replacing these can become costly. With a Complete Wheel Protection policy, AutoProtect will arrange for a specialist to repair your alloy wheels somewhere safe, secure and convenient for you, or if necessary, they'll arrange for your alloy wheel to be repaired elsewhere. If your alloy wheel is damaged beyond repair, they'll pay towards the cost of a replacement up to the aggregate claims limit as per your policy schedule. You can claim up to five alloy wheel repairs during your policy term.
What's included in this policy?
- A maximum of five tyre repair or replacement claims within the term of your policy
- Cover for all five tyres, including your spare tyre
- Cover available for run-flat tyres if needed
- Up to £50 towards a puncture repair
- A maximum of five alloy wheel repair or replacement claims within the term of your policy (contribution to the cost of replacement will only be offered if a repair cannot be carried out)
- Claim up to £100 per alloy wheel replacement (up to a total of £500 per period of insurance)
- Varying cover durations are available depending on your requirements
- A range of aggregate claims limits are available depending on the premium paid and the duration selected

What's not included in this policy?
- Body shop repairs
- Customised paint finishes
- Chrome-effect or split-rim construction wheels
- Where loss or damage to your tyre is caused by a road traffic accident, fire or theft
- Where the tyres are below the legal tread limit at the time of damage occurring
- Where the wheel rim exceeds 22 inches in diameter
- Where the damage to the alloy wheels is not reported within 30 days of the incident occurring
- General wear and tear, corrosion or neglect or a defect that is deemed not to be damage
- Where the wheel is pitted or corroded
- Any costs incurred in excess of or outside the liability of this insurance
