Buying a used Maserati

Founded in 1914 by three brothers; Alfieri, Ettore, and Ernesto Maserati, and it is a brand known for status, style and class. But, the original purpose for the business was to manufacture spark plugs, a far cry from the machines we see on the roads today.

Fast forward a few decades and the company is owned by Fiat, another Italian car company, and that has been the case since 1993. Maserati is known for power and performance, as well as stunning silhouettes and sleek lines. The company lay dormant for a number of years, but in 2002, the brand exploded back onto the market with the Spyder, an incredible and much sought-after vehicle.

Maserati FAQs

Choosing a Maserati

Choosing a Maserati car will depend on what you’re looking for in a vehicle and also, how much you would like to spend on a car. Think about what you will be using the car for and start to plan from there, and remember we are always here for you if you have any questions or need some help deciding.

Are Maserati cars good for the environment?

You can look at the environmental impact of every car, as they will all be a little different. While we associate larger engines with being worse for the environment, modern technology means that isn’t always the case, so it is best to look at this on a car by car basis.

Can I drive a Maserati everyday?

You can do so if you wish to, yes. Maserati cars are luxurious and some of them are particularly fast, but that doesn't mean that they cannot be driven every day.

Is a Maserati a good purchase?

If you are looking for a car that has performance, power, and style, then yes. If you look after a Maserati, they tend to hold good value and don’t typically depreciate as much as other models.

Is a Maserati right for me?

It all depends on what you are looking for. Think about what you want out of your car and go from there, but if you’re considering it, come and speak with a member of the team and we will be more than happy to help.

How popular are Maserati cars?

They are not a common sighting on the roads, but they are popular with their owners. We find that Maserati owners either keep their cars for a lengthy period or they trade it in for another Maserati. Let us know if you would like to learn more about part exchanging a vehicle.
